i come home filthy after school. i enjoy crawling around in the yard. i also come home exhausted. i have many wonderful friends at school. they wave goodbye when i leave and scream 'bye lulu baby!'...and when i arrive in the morning, they surround me and give me kisses and pet me. it's pretty sweet stuff.

just not yet. but soon enough. for now, i stand(and sit) in them!

my silly family

we recently got a new rug. it's soft and plush so i can fall around on it. consequently, the living room needed a face lift. so my mom decided to paint the living room wall this weekend. it was 'yellow brick road' and is now 'thatched roof'. while she painted my dad, annie bean and i had to amuse ourselves in a disastrous house. shoved into the corner, my dad fed me on the orange chair. and another time, he fed me in the pen. my mother's current favorite inanimate object was close by. annie bean was in a posing kind of mood. my mom kept finding us in funny photo opportunities. here are a couple of highlights:

i have a great time in the tub...i actually have a new tub now, but this photo is prior to the new tubs arrival. i splash, play with my toys and smile and open my mouth real big.

summer in review

my first summer has just come to an 'official' end (although the weather is still great!), and all and all it was pretty successful!

i visited all of my grandparents and met all of my cousins; i learned to crawl and recently, learned to stand. i even improved upon my napping skills - i'm no 'master' yet, but i am a bit better than before. this summer i visited lots of places, made a tooth, learned to sleep through the night, spent time on the new deck and made lots of friends. i continue to be fashionable and smiley. i went swimming quite a bit this summer - at the jfk school, the radvany's, out on the cape, and at my latest favorite watering hole in bedford. i also got my own pony. if this blog were a sitcom, the following pics and flicks would make up a flash back episode...they are a montage of the most recent summer highlights:
