halloween shirt

my mom tried desperately to get a photo of me in my halloween shirt that carmen gave me.
but, i am squirmy beyond belief...so this is the best she could do....

party time at luca's in salem!

i partied in salem, ma. yes, this is the ghoulish town -- home of witches and witch hunts. luca was a little emperor, isabelle was a peacock and sara was a little lamb.

halloween costume #2

for my second costume i dressed up as piglet. i wore a costume that my mother wore (when she was in the fourth grade). it was a little large...but it worked!


in addition to annie bean's scarf, she wore a bow tie. what a cute dog.

halloween costume #1

for the first of many exciting halloween events we attended a costume parade filled with princesses, pirates and masked marvels! i dressed as richard simmons. older kids got to play this doughnut game -- they eat doughnuts off a string while their hands are tied behind their backs...i think it is the new england equivelant of bobbing for apples.

this was just the first of many costumes i have lined up for this spectacular holiday!

we saw molly (shark) at the parade. here she is with her dad charlie. her mom sent us this photo and noted that she thought molly must be wondering: 'lulu, what have you done to your hair!'

my dad's mom giuliana is visiting me from california! we have been having a great time...and i have been on my best behavior!


we drove around and looked at the colorful leaves and we visited concord and strolled around the historic area...
we also went out to brunch at highland kitchen -- where i impressed other diners with my manners and cuteness! (i was wearing my richard simmons costume -- dig my sweat bands!)

a super cool parade came to town...activist marching bands from around the globe congregated in davis square and rocked out. afterward we walked to octoberfest in harvard square where the festivities continued. it was a lot of fun...i enjoyed every bit of it!
