walking in my new kicks

today was nearly 50 degrees! and, our adventure was huge. my folks, niki and mike walked to fresh pond and back home again. it was a good 7 mile stroll. they let me walk parts of it. i wore my new shoes. these shoes are my first 'real' pair....now that i am walking i needed something a little more sturdy. i have oddly small feet, so the shoes are a tad large, but the salesman told us that my feet would spread a bit as i walk more and more. i was so pleased with my new shoes that i squeeled with excitement at various points during the day...this included (but was not limited to) the times that i saw my reflection in a mirror or windows. i was also sure to wave at and say hello to as many people as possible in order to share my excitement. i did so much walking that i came home exhausted. i went to bed before 6pm! if you can, zoom in this photo to see my face. i'm pretty pleased with myself....

crayola makes these cool water-color-markers. they are triangular for easy grip and they clean up real easy....clever feature. they are designed for 'two and up' but i know how to use them already!

lulu visits the new england aquarium

i went to the aquarium with my pal luca and his mom tracy. it was a great adventure....that is why this is the only photo we have!

hard day at work

sorry that it has been a while! my mom has been very busy. rather than try and 'catch up' we have decided to just move forward. we can catch up on 'february 2009' another time. my mom has an idea as to how to handle that one.....
