lulu's dad was out of town, but nana and tata were around, so dave, yen, and hannah came over and we celebrated lulu's half birthday and ate ice cream sandwiches and sang happy birthday (like 4 or 5 times!). we also celebrated my mom's birthday by going to the somerville jazz festival. after the 'long' walk to powder house, lulu pooped out - and slept through much of the show!
