toto, i don't think we are in kansas anymore! it is late november and lulu in not bundled up in winter wear or wearing a fall coat. nope. lulu is in her swim suit at the beach!
lulu is also getting much better on her scooter. i need to get a video of her riding it. but for now, here is a photo:
and yes, after all the playing and playing that she does, she sometimes passes out - because lulu is either 'on' or 'off'. there is no in-between.
now that we are back in california lulu gets to see her cousins more often. below, lulu and carmen jump off a log on a cliff overlooking the ocean. while on this hike, we saw dolphins. lots and lots of dolphins!

it is great that lulu's cousins came to visit us. they played in her bedroom...they had some kind of a tea party and in general made a huge mess....
and carmen spent the night. the next day they wanted to 'eat breakfast in a tree'. so, we walked them to the local park (shoreline park is a 2 minute walk from the house) and the girls ate in the tree.....
below is a photo of lulu and irene rollerskating!!! how cool is that.... we were in santa cruz one rainy day and this was the best way to spend an afternoon.....super fun stuff. and lulu did great. at first she had the wheels on the skates very tight (so that she could practically walk in them) and as the afternoon progressed we had them loosened. can't wait to do it again!
